IS IT THAT EASY TO ELIMINATE GOD?
I am not posting this out of any religious conviction or affiliation. Anyone who reads my blogs know that organized religion and I do not get along. However, I do believe that that as our spiritual being comes under fire, so does the fabric our society begin to unravel. I firmly believe that all non-violent beliefs should have the right to express themselves in a free and open society. If you remove God, Divine Consciouness, The All, The Great Spirit, the Goddess from our heritage, you relegate the very nature of our existence to mere chemical soup.
Please help do this... refuse to accept these when they are handed back to you. ? I received one from the Post Office as change and I ask for a dollar bill instead..the lady just smiled and said way to go, so she had read this e-mail. ?Please help out... our world is in enough trouble without this too!!!!! ?

IN GOD WE TRUST along with E PLURIBUS UNUM are stamped into the 'spine' of the coin. The US Mint announced this when this new series of coins began circulation in early 2007. There were a few thousand of the Washington dollar coins that went out without this imprinting along the edge, thus causing many right-wing christianists to get their panties in a twist. The Mint thought this was a clever way to get all the traditional information on the coin without cluttering up the head or tail.
As for dollar coins in general, I like the idea. If the Mint were serious about switching though, they would stop printing and circulating the greenback. Inside of 2 years the ashtrays of our cars would be flecked with gold... along with the silver and copper.
